Our Team
Louise van Aswegen - Managing Director
Louise obtained her Baccalaureus Procurationis (B.PROC.) and Baccalaureus Legum (LLB) degrees from the University of Pretoria and is an Attorney of the High Court of South Africa, Conveyancer and Notary with 24 (Twenty Four) years of extensive experience in property law, estate law and law of contracts. She did her Masters degree in International Law & was conferred her Master Legum (LLM) degree in 2004. Louise has managed reputable conveyancing Departments and ran a highly successful sole practice for 18 (Eighteen) years.
Elaine Urquhart - Candidate Attorney
Elaine has been with LVA Attorneys for 3 years and has 30 years of experience in foreclosures, law of contracts, property law, estate law and civil litigation. Elaine obtained her LLB degree the University of South Africa and is currently completing her articles at LVA Attorneys. She is a valued, reliable, and steadfast member of the firm. Elaine is currently running the bond department, which includes drafting bond documents, liaising with clients and signing clients. She is also involved in the drafting of transfer documentation and assisting in the estate department. She has a thorough and precise approach when dealing with all matters. She has a likeable and pleasant demeanour, and it is uplifting to deal with her at any time.
Esme Smith - Attorney
Esme Smith is an Attorney of the High Court of South Africa and Conveyancer with 32 (Thirty Two) years of experience in all aspects of the law, including Law of Contracts, Sectional Property, Subdivisions and Consolidations. Esme has managed the conveyancing department for two prestigious Law firms in South Africa.
